Season 1 the Waltons

This is my favorite season, and I loved the original opening. This beautiful series lasted 9 years with 6 follow up tv movies & the "HOMECOMING"(Patricia Neale) Christmas movie where it all started. All based on the popular Earl Hamner, Jr books which btw inspired "Spencer's Mountain" with Henry Fonda & Maureen O'Hara. With a bio like this you know its great entertainment & altho family friendly, still magnificently captures all audiences due to the fabulously written dialogue/stories, wonderful acting, and great scenery & sets. Its a must have!
