a real charmer

This book is a lovely, realistic story that follows a little girl on a walk throughout the park and her neighborhood. It starts out brisk but slows, just as little legs slow on a walk. In the end, the girl and her mom curl up, resting after the walk. The pictures are a lovely complement to the simple, almost poetic text. Highly recommended.

a poetic verse!

walk with me is a beautiful story of a young girl taking a walk with her mother and expolring the outdoors-- the sights, sounds and smells! it's a perfect book to curl up and read together at naptime or bedtime because it ends with a restful sleep. we liked it so much we named our second child after the author--naomi!
