“Loved it” is an odd way to rate this.
I was thankful that I had found this book in that it further educated me to the atrocities of the white man’s unending appetite for riches at whatever cost. It broke my heart.
I had spent a year and a half in Oz back in the late ‘80s and have always longed to return. But reading this book made me hate white Australians :: I am a white American, our history is little different :: making me feel that I could never return. But the truth is, they need more white folks like me; ones that will fight for the indigenous of the country I fell so in love with.
Very powerful.
