"Vote to Save The Planet" is an important wake up call to Americans for the 2008 Election and the state of our public policy in general. The author, Dr. Jeffery Schweitzer is a renowned environment scientist and former Science Adviser to the Clinton/Gore Administration. It is a remarkable little book that makes a clear and very detailed case for the enormous harm to us, to our society, and to our planet that results from current public policies that are based on religion rather than reason. Organized by a long list of relevant topics, it presents an omnibus of compelling examples and well-researched data to make its points. Although the book is easy to read, the impact its detail makes is overwhelming. After reading it, I have no doubt that you will want to (as I certainly did) "vote to save the planet" right now, and in the future as well!
The book VOTE TO SAVE THE PLANET convinces you to care.

A European scientist recently said "We have about 100 months to save the planet, or the path to global warming catastrophe won't be reversible. " I bought "Vote to Save the Planet, your guide to issues that matter" and took it to a coffee shop near my house. I sat down to read a few pages. Two hours later, the kind employees politely kicked me out since it was 11 pm. So I walked to a chair outside of the coffee shop to finish the book. It is a great book, one of those books that is written very responsibly, and it convinces you to care. And for all who care, it teaches us how we can live responsibly. I believe we can be effective in saving the planet if we vote for leaders who understand the challenges and respond to our demand that they take action. I humbly believe everyone should read this book and get involved. Planet Earth belongs to all of us and we are all connected. If politicians do the right things, we will all benefit, and believe me if things go badly, regardless of who you are, it will affect your life for the worse. beezhan www.beezhan.com
