I think it's great!

I was a little startled to see that some reviewers thought this book worth only 2 stars. After reading their reviews I see that they're punishing the book for being a reference work instead of being an advanced tutorial on whatever subjects they're looking for.In fact, the front cover declares it to be "The Programmer's Complete Visual Basic Reference". It is in fact a reference work, declares itself to be so and, in my opinion, does an exceptional job of it.Even though we're using Visual Studio 6 and this book covers only VB 5 I bought copies of this book for my entire development team since I was so impressed with it as a reference. Even though we develop plenty of on-line help ourselves it doesn't lend itself very well to flipping through the pages... and I find that useful even with a reference book.

Every time I needed to find a specific item I have always found more than enough information to solve the problem.
