A beautifully composed coffee table book. It has great pictures with exciting subjects. Though it provides minimal information for technique, it is a fun book to have around.

Lovely book capturing the essence of show jumping

Big, excellent quality photographs capture the spirit and beauty of showjumping. I also enjoyed what Elithabeth Furth, the photographer, had to say about them, as well as the comments from the top notch riders pictured. Contrary to what you might imagine, it is a very interesting book, not only to look at, but also to read. I find it a very motivating and inspiring book, I am in love with show jumping, and its wonderful to see the emotion of the sports captured so well (not an easy task!), and to know the rider's feelings towards the moments, the competitions, their horses. As Elithabeth Furth puts it: photographs capture spectacular moments of competition and immortalize them on film.
