sign of our times?

It is a disturbing sign of our times that this book exists, aimed at the 9-12 year old reader. In carefully simple language, it explains the perils of viruses and spam. Computers are now so commonly used by kids in that age range that they are likely to encounter these things. The intent is to educate them, and diminish the dangers. Given that viruses can propagate through email attachments and by various peer to peer networks. So it is not just email that can act as a vector of malware.
