Excellent for the first time traveler!!

This is a good basic book on travels to Viet Nam. Its very informative though several years outdated. As I travel to South East Asia frequently the information is pretty accurate and the maps are certainly helpful. I suggest you search the internet for hotels under US $40.00 dollars a day with breakfast included.

Good Travel Info.

Good basic, mainstream travel info. Lots of great pictures - which I find preferable to travel guides with no pictures. I like to see the places I'm reading about.

Vietnam Bound

While the Insight Guides do not provide the best info as far as hotels and restaurants, they give excellent background info and tourist info. A great resource.
