Well Loved Book

We purchased this book for our oldest over 9 years ago. It was immediately her favorite book...we would read it over and over again. When our son was born we pulled it out and he loved it just as much as his sister. Between the two of them, the book was loved to pieces. Today I bought a new Very First Words for our youngest...it's that good. This book provides basic vocabulary with engaging illustrations that appeal to very young children (and parents too). At the end there is even a page for counting practice. The board pages enable the children to look at the pictures on their own and provide the durability that is needed in a well loved book. The quality of the manufacturing is excellent.

Very First Words

This is a very good first book for children. It is sturdy and children can see the word and the picture. If you want to start children learning to read, "Your Baby Can Read" found on suesbooks.info can help tremendously. It has been proven to work. 15 min - 30 min a day can help to increase their vocabulary and help them to learn the written language and verbal language. Starting them early is the key. This book is very good for re-enforcement and learning. Kids love them.

Very First Words

I purchased this book for my three year old son. He is Autistic, and non-verbal. We both like this book. He loves looking at all of the colorful pictures. What I like is that this book is broken up into catagories like, people, clothing items, foods, toys, animals, parts of the body & more. the pictures are specific, up-close, and colorful, to attract small childrens attention. I feel that this book is perfect for children who are learning to speak, and name objects. It's also great because it's more durable than a paperback with little fingers flipping through the pages!
