This book is fun and catchy. I would suggest reading this book not only because it seems realistic to seventh grade girls, but because you feel like hey that happened to me or something. Venola seems to be somewhat pressured at the thought of a boy she finds out that she just isnt right for it.She even realizes she likes the boy because of his looks!
