The Vegetable thieves by Inga Moore

We sympathize with two hard working rats who slave in their vegie garden until they fall asleep in their (home grown) mashed potatoes. Imagine their rage when vegies are stolen from under their noses! The theives are caught and punishment metred, but the conclusion solves more than the missing vegie problem.
