The Vegas Kid

'The Vegas Kid' is hilariously witty and delightful. Mr. Vinson delivers yet again!! I highly recommend this book to anyone whose passion is Las Vegas.

a lot of humour

I enjoyed Barney Vinson's "Vegas Kid" tremondously, I found it truly delightful and chuckled throughout the reading. It grabbed my attention and my funny bone! I am looking forward to Mr. Vinson's next book.

Vegas Kid - right on target!!

I live in Vegas and worked in the casino industry for quite a few years. Barney Vinson must be a casino insider, too, because his book "The Vegas Kid" paints a hilarious picture of the town and the casinos. I recommend it as required reading for anyone who's ever been to Vegas.

I think I know the Vegas Kid!

While working in the Casino Industry "in the Good Old Days", I'm sure I met the main character of Mr. Vinsons' book! He was so colorful and funny and even typical 20 years ago!I have read all of Mr. Vinsons' Las Vegas books and was looking forward to this one, his first fiction. It was hilarious--I have always appreciated the authors' humor and was not let down with The Vegas Kid. The book was light and easy to read--I would recommend it to anyone who asked.

Funniest Book I've Read in Years

I travel to Las Vegas five or six times a year. I love Las Vegas and read every book on the subject. So when I saw "The Vegas Kid" by Barney Vinson, I just had to read it.It was one of the funniest books I've read in years, keeping me in stitches all the way home on the plane. Some Hollywood producer should snap up this book. It would make a great movie. I see Billy Bob Thornton playing the book's hero, and maybe even a cameo by Steve Wynn?I give the book a hearty thumbs up -- and 5 stars.
