The Books that The Chronicle is based on

If you have been watching The Chronicle on the Sci Fi Channel then you know that these are the books that the series is based on. What you may not know is that the books are different than the series! The books have a girl reporter named Savvy and the paper she works at is not the World Chronicle. In this book Savvy investigates a story about a vampire. The story is exciting with some violence and a lot of strange things happening. but dont expect to see Tucker or the other people from the Chronicle! I can see how they got the idea for the tv show from these books but they changed a lot of things. The book is funny and I will read more of them.

Sumner always delivers

If you want a lite, fun story with cool characters and great opening lines, you won't fail with one (or, may I suggest, all) of the News From the Edge books. This time, instead of just investigating the story, Savvy ends up on the other side as part of the story - she's a vampire. Oops! There are a lot of things in this book for fans of the old vampire and other horror flicks, plus for fans of newer stuff like The X-Files.NBC has ordered a midseason replacement series called News From the Edge which is loosely based on this series. I can only hope they keep the lighthearted humor that makes these books so much fun.
