Civilizations built cities throughout the centuries without incorporating adequate infrastructure to ease congestion and stop environmental pollution. A large city like London or New York must become Eco-friendly, self-sufficient and have a sustainable socio-economic ecosystem. The author believes the Eco-city's design in this book is a Utopian concept that solves t6x and tomorrow's socio-economic problems. However, building a small Eco-city may not be enough for self-sufficiency and a sustainable ecosystem.
Therefore, in a large country, a large Eco-City of one million, scalable to three million Eco-homes, can employ most of its residents. Everyone can learn and work at home using the Internet. Eco-industries, businesses, agriculture, renewable energy, river and all necessary subsistence facilities are essential for its self-sufficiency. The Eco-industries prioritize supplying the Eco-city with all its needs and exporting excess products and services. However, smaller scale Eco-cities are possible in small countries and islands. A whole island can become an Eco- Island or Eco-country.
The Eco-city must have a complete ecosystem that can shut its gates or borders and survive national or global economic hardships. It has an internal Eco-socio-economic system that reduces the cost of living. The Eco-city's administration subsidizes those with low or no income from the cradle to the grave without the need for support from the national government or its welfare system.
Each family must receive universal credit to survive on the bare necessities when they have no income or are unemployed. But people must learn skills within their limited abilities, regardless of age or partial disability.
The wealthiest 1000 in the world have enough wealth to build Eco-cities and Eco-homes for all families and employ them to become richer. This way, the poor become more prosperous, and the wealthy become wealthier. If peace dominates the globe and countries stop spending trillions on weapons, they can end poverty. Governments must prevent claimers for domicile status, blind trusts, offshore accounts and any other method that evades or avoid paying progressive taxes. Consequently, governments can collect more revenue and balance the budget deficits to spend more on people's welfare needs.
It must become a compulsory human right to secure an Eco-home in Eco-city for each family living the Eco-decent lifestyle. The author hopes that influential leaders and conglomerates plant the seeds for more fruitful trees on our planet and remove the thorns from its bushes. In other words, invest in people's potential for future wealth for everyone and remove the greedy ones who make money by unethical means.
Therefore, the author dedicates this book to everyone who dreams of owning an Eco-home in an Eco-city and living an Eco-decent lifestyle. Henri pleads to the world's leaders and the wealthiest on Earth to make such dreams come true so everyone benefits.
The Ecolism concept was published in 2017 in the Books; Ecolism 1&2 - My Utopian Eco-city and Eco-socio-economic System. However, in 2023, the author decided to continue his work for a new and complete socio-economic system that solves all the flaws in communism, capitalism, authoritarianism and religions. Hence, the Ecolism Bible books cover aspects of human rights, ethics, climate change, lifestyle, Eco-cities, Eco-homes and a new version of the Eco-socio-economic ecosystem.
