The best book about the Internet I've seen

I recommend this book to every my friend and to all people in book stores, when I see that they're searching for a book about the Internet. Excellent and clear language; very good guide to the Internet for beginners and advanced users, and it will be good for professional too. I discovered the Internet with this book on my table and I'm happy with that. I recommend it to everyone, especially for people who are new in the Internet and want to study it fast and effectively.

Used for 2 years as a textbook for Internet course.

This is a good basic book about the Internet as it was 4 years ago. I have used this as a textbook for courses at Baruch College and found the material was covered quite well. The more recent Internet addittives, Beans, JAVA Script are not there. However, the basic internet is. Looking for the 5th edition for my next class.

I loved the book!

This book really got me on my way to learning the Internet. I look forward to buying more of this author's books because of the clear, concise way he explains things.
