The information I gained from this book has been verified over and over again--excellent resource for anyone just starting out with Access; and, needing to get beyond the basic hello-world type instruction in almost all courses and books. You can do it all with information in this book. In fact, even though it is about Access 95 specifically, this book's authors, Jennings et al., provide an excellent database lesson in the last chapters. I would use this book with another more version specific book. This book literally launched my career.
Nice Resource

Mr. Roger Jennings, the author of this massive volume, has presented the modern computer user with an excellent and extensive resourse. Although the volume is comprehensive, it is not exhaustive. To begin with, the book goes through the process of creating a database, although it tends to be poorly organized at times. There should be a comprehensive appendix of commonly used information such as datatypes. I don't suggest this volume to the novice, although an accomplished user will find this as an excellent reference tool. You might consider another volume if you are trying to learn relational databases for the first time
