All I Can Say Is GOOOOOD To The Last Drop

I have always enjoyed Tony Lindsay. He writes a good story and just when you think you know what is going to happen here comes the SURPRISE. I enjoy books like that, this is a story about Chance and Patrice although they were raised up in two different worlds they fall in love. I thought her family would have become a bigger obstacle in their relationship but it turns out that Patrice is her own worst enemy. Chance I think is just a good man that happens to fall in love with the wrong women. So sit back and let author Tony Lindsay take you into the lives of Chance and Patrice.

Mixing the Classes

When a poor, foster-system raised Chance meets a bourgeois, "Black Princess" Patrice as teens their paths and lives are destined to pass--over and over again. But Chance had his own problems with his mother's mental illness and her absence from his life, which often clouded his decisions and he finally chose a life of petty crime and drug dealing at a young age. While Patrice was the typical spoiled rich kid, who wants it her way--now! Later they join forces and Patrice shows Chance how to lead a legitimate life. Is their love affair a one-sided romance? But Patrice's family intervened when the romance was escalating and they found out that Chance's mother was a prostitute and his father was a pimp. But all hell broke loose when they realized that his mother was mentally ill, and they did not want him ruining "their" family tree. Ultimately, they break off the relationship. Other life-threatening events happen and Patrice decides that she needs Chance's help and love--again, regardless of what her parents think. Tony Lindsay creates a romantic roller coaster with many "sharp" turns!

He did it again!

This is the second book I read by Tony Linday, I met the author at my school. The first book I read was Chasin' It, I gave to my mother to read she gave it to my aunt, the book was wild for real but this one wasn't like that, it was wild but it wasn't wild like Chasin' It. This one was a about a young couple and the dude's crazy mama but I undersand why she went crazy, that was foul what happened to her. I liked the love scenes way more in this one, Patrice just didn't know what she had until it was too late and then she tried to get back with him, I really wasn't feeling his little fling with the boss's daughter though, I was glad Patrice got with her, stood up for the sisters - she was my girl then! But it turnd out she had been playing Chance all along and she was wrong for that, he loved her too much to get played like that. I was really happy for Chance's mama and her girl when the went and found a beter life but that the whole little part was kinda spooky for real, this was a good book and I am glad the writer came up to our school.

Urban / Street Books

This book was more than I expected, bravo to the author. The dateing issues between classes, even within the same race was surprising, the mental illness was just plain scary, the sex scenes were very well develped- when Patrice loses her virginity was one of the most erotic scenes I have read, this guy can write, I found about him through an email, looking for more from him

Really a good read

This was a really good book, being from Chicago I loved the settings. I was surprised with the ending, I didn't expect that girl to come back, I was hoping he wouldn't get with Patrice. Chance had issues but he was willing to work to get better. Now his mother on the other hand, Lord have mercy, do women really try to pimp other women? I don't know, that was a bit extreme to me. I like this book a lot and will recomend it to my friends.
