Kate Morton became a favorite as soon as I opened her first book

Some reviews have given low-star ratings due to multiple timelines and intricate character development. That is what I find so fun about Kate's writing style. I love the way she jumps around time, back and forth between then and now, before bringing everything together so smoothly. The Forgotten Garden was my introduction to Miss Morton. The Secret Keeper is my favorite so far. I'm finishing The Clockmaker's Daughter now, and just received Homecoming as a gift. Excited!

Do you believe in ghosts?

This book had too many stories going on - different time periods, different characters, different locations all trying to blend together. It was frustrating to try to keep track of everything and make some sense of everything. You also need to believe in ghosts. Just saying . . .

Kate morton never disappoints

Yes it is hard to keep up sometimes, that's part of the genius of her style of writing. I love how the generations are woven together. Couldn't put it down.

Loved!

Absolutely loved this book! The characters pulled me in and I couldn't put it down. I loved each of their stories and how the past story impacted future characters.

Too much to keep track of!

This book was too hard to follow. There were several different time periods and many different characters in each time period. Kept going back and forth and hard to keep up.
