I have been wondering about this tragic event since I was a kid. This explained it all except who the coward was who ran the bus off the road. Whoever it was probably carried it to the grave!!!....tomb
Until the End of the Ninth

I read Until the End of the Ninth, not because I'm a huge baseball fan (actually quite the opposite) but rather at the urging of a friend. Did I like it? Nope. Did I love it? Absolutely. And why, you may wonder, would a non-baseball fan love a baseball book? Because it's not really a baseball book. And it's not really a spirituality book. But it is really a terrific book. It's as much about life as about death. It's as much about individuals as it about teams. It encompasses everything while simultanously being about a very simple incident in the lives of just a few people. I sent copies to all my friends, and they'll read it at the urging of this friend and likely write an online review for the very first time (just like I am), and then buy copies for all their friends. Enjoy! Lori Madrid, Phoenix, AZ
great story

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is a story that has real depth: the living players we become involved with, the raw facts of the tragedy, and the sprirtual dimensions involving life and death. I think the book will reach across a broad spectrum of readers and please them all. It is a story that needed to be told and Bollinger does it extremely well.
