This book has made me a lot of money!

I purchased this book less than a year ago and using the advice of the author I have made enough money in real estate investing to quit my job and do it full time. I have read dozens of books on the subject and found this to be by far the most helpful. It is easy to read and gives a lot of specific, useful advise.

Put to the Test!

I first read this book in December of 2003. I went to my first absorption market (explained in the book) in March/April of 2004. Simply stated:This works! In the chosen market I went to (JAX, Florida ) I have purchased 20 single family homes. I live, however, in California. I have been able to follow concepts in the book to "Live where I want, and invest where it makes financial sense." If one can grasp the innovative potential of the concepts and information from this book then large financial gains are obtainable. The book is a guide on where and how to do it but it is up to the proactive reader to follow through and get it done.

A lot of good tools

The author recommends "timing" the market. I'm not a big fun of market timing, but it was interesting to know that enrollment of K-6 has something to do with real estate market. Typical to some real estate investing books (such as Shemin's books), this book has a lot of "buy my course" ad in it, but I still like that book as it contains a lot of useful tools, especially about how to plan your investing and how to start.

Wonderful book!

This book is a must for anyone thinking about creating aditional income outside of their 9-5 jobs. Not only does the book give you very clear instructions on how you can use real estate to achieve financial freedom, but Garrison takes such a hands on approach rarely seen these days, and it is a very plesant suprise and addition! Throughout the book he inculdes his and his wife's e-mail addresses so that if you have any questions you can contact them. I happend to have a question and he gave me a full and detailed response within 48 hours. How many other best selling authors are willing to do that? Great book..easy to follow..a definate must for anyone looking to expand their horizions and earn some extra income!

Garrison is back! Financially Free 2003 style!

I bought Marc Garrison book "Financially Free" back in the 80's and found it to be the finest real estate book available at that time. While I was impressed by Garrison's investment success, I was even more impressed by his writing skills. Marc Garrison's genius is the ability to deliver complicated ideas in a clear, concise and easy to understand manner. He can take a rank and file real estate beginner and create a polished money machine very quickly.In this edition, Garrison makes comparisons of real estate to the stock market and other investment options. It is updated for the new millenium and Garrison even discusses the role that 911 plays in the current real estate economy.Garrison offers three different plans to reach financial independence via real estate investing. He also includes points and pitfals for success. That is how to plan for profits and avoid the pitfalls of real estate investing.Garrison shows that the American Dream is alive and well and can be achieved by anyone with a little ingenuity amd creativity. This book is down to earth and easy to understand and implement.Overall, Unlimited Real Estate Profit is a great real estate book, written by a investor who has done it and can teach it. What a rare combination.
