Felicity Barrett has a well paying responsible job in her family's shipping business in Portland, but she's been having headaches. Her doctor believes it's because she never rests, never takes time off, so he prescribes some time away from the company, a vacation. She goes to Silverton, Colorado a small town 9,000 feet in the mountains. While there a film company is shooting commercials and they need extras. Felicity just can't rest, so she applies and now she's working as an extra, acting as a saloon girl in the old west. The director tells the girls to pick a man and pretend they want to go to bed with him, so they'll get that certain look he's after. Felicity hones in on a rugged blue-eyed guy, but her imagination runs too wild and she blows the scene. The man, Seth Taylor, is a historian and a writer. At first he's upset with Felicity when he finds out she's not local, as she's taken the job from a local and the locals need the money. However it's not long before our hero and heroine are an item. Then things start going wrong with the filming. It seems someone doesn't want the commercials made and they better find and stop whoever it is before they go too far.As far as romance writers go, Anne Marie Duquette is one of the best and she doesn't disappoint with UNLIKELY PLACES. This book had enough tension and suspense to keep me on the edge of my seat right up to the end. I enjoyed the read and I think you will too.A Harlequin Dreamers Review by Gracie Houston
