If you enjoy reading mysteries and ghost stories set in the nostalgia of the early 1960s, you'll love reading this book. George LaBrandt is an excellent investigative reporter. The only problem is he keeps finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and Detective Strausser is convinced he is guilty of committing these murders. While trying to stay out of jail he is constantly struggling with the ghosts in his old house. And did I fail to mention that he is telling this tale of woe while nailed in a coffin and being transported by the real killer in the back of a truck. If you want to know how all this turns out, you will need to read this book.
