Lovely little book that fills the heart

This is a lovely little book for anyone with the slightest interest in unicorns or a mythology history seeker. The book talks about the `ancient' unicorn and the many ancient cultures that believe in its existence, describing the unicorn in different physical and symbolical ways unique to a culture. Also is mentioned the medieval and renaissance unicorns and there part in history. This book covers a little bit of everything about the unicorn, from folk tails to unicorns in literature, to the powers the horn was believed to of had. This lovely little book, as small as it is, features five wonderful little illustrations of the unicorn tapestries. It is beautifully put together with a unique floral salute bordering every page and a unicorn salute heading every new chapter.The first time I picked up this little book it enchanted me with its beautiful design, and wonderful lore of unicorns. It is a keepsake that I'll cherish for a long time to come.It left me with a sense of wonder and a new way of thinking about unicorns. I also was compelled to seek out more information about unicorns. This book would make a lovely little gift for anyone with an interest in unicorns. I know I will always cherish this book like a favorite childhood story.
