Older book; contemporary message

I believe this book was originally written for cynical teens full of questions about the Christian faith and the meaning of life. It's full of photos of '70s kids but that just adds to the poignancy of the message. I believe lots of adults could read this and find answers that are treated in an overblown, overcomplicated way in other books. This book was written by Philip Yancey and Tim Stafford, both of whom became lauded Christian writers in the years following. If you have nagging questions about life, check this little book out. It was well thought out.

70's gem

this book is full of 1970s photos, and even better, an honest look at doubt, anger, and other very REAL topics. Great for anyone wanting an upfront expose on the emotions we all encounter along the way.
