The beginning of the novel sows a seed of intrigue with the mysterious appearance of a diamond ring and the description of the daily lives of three great women, -Ang lica Andrade, Arisis Robles and Clara Mendieta-. The author elaborates three trips to the United States in which they are protagonists.
Miguel (will enter by car through the Tijuana-San Ysidro gate), Ang lica and her husband Armando (will walk through the Free Bridge that connects Ciudad Ju rez with El Paso) and Juanito (who will cross the Reynosa-Hidalgo border avoiding the currents of the Grand River).
This book describes some of the barriers that the undocumented immigrant encounters when entering the United States, but also the accessible pathways and benefits.
