Very Powerful

This book was for a diversity class and it covers a LOT of sociological topics and minority groups. There is extensive breakdown on the various ways people are discriminated against while helping the reader brainstorm on ways to end discrimination through activism on many levels. The authors cover a lot of topics for practicing social workers and try to ensure an all inclusive perspective to the field. Emphasis is placed on the higher understanding of your own group as well as others despite differences, which helps facilitate the social work process.
