Mark Wakefield managed to escape from an underground alien base outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. He, along with others, had been captive and experimented on since they were very young. Mark made a desperate effort to get out of his hostage situation, try to find his mother, and get help to free the others under the control of aliens. With the help of a truck driver, he made it to a police station. While relating his story, he was involved in a shootout. Though wounded; he managed to escape. As the story progresses, he's hunted by aliens, the police, CIA, NSA, rogue hit men, the military, and a mysterious group. Through a stroke of luck, he enlists the help of a female detective, a female police officer, and a CIA agent. When these four go off the grid, the police desparately look for their missing detective, Sarah Sidwell, and police officer, Kate Brewster. They belive Mark is the key to their disappearance. Sarah's detective partner, Jack Caruso is determined to find her, no matter what it takes, or what he has to do. She is much more than just a partner to him.The aliens are searching for Mark because they've invested DNA and training for years in this person. They need him as part of their plan to continue the future existence of a mixture of humans and DNA of people from their planet. A mysterious group working with the aliens are also trying to locate Mark, and Kill anybody with him. They don't want the aliens found because the've been learning alien propulsions systems, and developing military-type crafts. The military are looking for Mark, the alien base, and the mysterious group. Twists and turns at every corner keep the story fast paced. Everyone envolved uses every means at their disposal to accomplish their agenda.
