Must Have

My mother read this to me and my sisters almost 30 years ago, yet the stories are just as appealing as they were then. My young teens even enjoy the stories. Gilbert Beers knows how to use elements of literature to make these stories cause little ones to sit still and listen. This is a must have for every Christian homeschool. We met Mr. Beers at a Christian Booksellers Association convention and he is just a dear man, loving and kind with the young ones.

Just as I remembered

Mom bought this book for us when we were kids (30 years ago!). Now, I had to search high and low to find it for mine. It is just as good as I remembered and my kids are enjoying it, too. The life lessons learned by a young brother and sister are colorfully illustrated and interwoven with biblical stories and principles all the way through. It's a classic book of virtues and God's love for his children. Great illustrations.
