It also offers the history of ancient and modern exegesis of many difficult passages. This monumental work was realized between 1969 and 2015. It is both the result of a collective work, the Hebrew Old Testament Text Project, and of an individual author, Dominique Barthelemy, who passed away during the work. The posthumous publication of the unfinished essay was quite an adventure.
