Hilarious and Heart Warming

This is chick lit story about a runaway bride. Chloe gets a bad feeling at her wedding and runs away. She moves into her grandmothers house while she's supposed to be on her honeymoon to sort things out. It's a story about real issues, self discovery, self distructive behavior, and family dynamics. Chloe makes a hard journey of self discovery and begins to understand the mistakes she was making in her life. She's strong enough to correct mistakes that can be passed down from generation to generation. I'm looking forward to reading more of Rendahl's novels.

Not Lit For Your Average Chick

Eileen's writing style appeals to a vast variety of ages (unlike many other books of similar genre on the market now days). Her words are easy to devour into the night, like your favorite ice cream, and just as delicious. The male characters are always a treat as well. Her writing style is very fluid and paints a nice image as you read. Her plot is refreshing and her characters are the kind of people you either know, or would love to know. Another great one from Eileen. Can't wait for the next!

Unbridaled

A great story about finding one's self. Everyone has skeletons in the closets and finding out about your family's help to reveal more about yourself.

Great summer and book club read!

I have read all of Eileen Rendahl's books and have found each one moving and entertaining all in one. Un-Bridaled is for anyone that has experienced life going a different direction than "as planned" (and who hasn't?). The use of humor and interesting characters kept me interested until the very end. A perfect book to go on a summer vacation with!

Funny and serious all in one.

I read 'Do Me, Do My Roots' a while back and I didn't particularly like it. It was a great book to read to pass time. I read this book description and had to buy it. Just by reading the back of the book I knew I'd love it! I was right. This is a funny book with serious issues. Rendahl does a great job in balancing the two. I recommend this to any of her fans or chick lit fans. Looking forward to more books from her.
