I agree with C Daus. I picked it up new at Barnes & Noble for $10. I was interested in Land Rover History and it was pretty good for that. Also has good history on the creation of the Jeep. Although I haven't read them yet, it has discussions on Ford, Chevrolet, Cadillac, International, Hummer, Dodge, Mercedes, Nissan, Suzuki, and a few other SUV's. Very good pictures & good historic information, but as mentioned, not a lot of technical information. Definitely worth my $10, probably more. By the way, it's a fairly large book (9.5 X 12 and 440+ pages - it's pretty heavy to ship, just FYI).

Awesome-Awesome photography. Includes basic history of various relevant automakers and models. i scored this book used very cheap and absolutely love it for the full-page pictures alone, which are enhanced by the extra-large size of the book itself. Not much technical data, in case that is for what you are looking.
