Filled with expert advice on cleaning, waxing, and polishing to make your car shine inside, outside and under the hood. This description may be from another edition of this product.
If you you're an average joe, just wanting to make his car the prettiest on the block, this is the book for you. Lots of helpful techniques for the beginner but nothing special for an advanced detailer. The book needs to be updated as well-clearcoat finishes aren't really "high-tech" anymore. Color photos would make a nice addition as well. Still a VERY helpful book; my car has never looked better!
Good, but reader needs to keep in mind what's practical.

Review of the 1995 edition. Written by someone who's obviously very meticulous. For the average reader, it may be overly so. He mostly recommends using the mildest cleaning agent possible (+ time +elbow grease) but admits some (popular) cleaning chemicals do work (saves time) at the user's own peril. Not enough on ragtops. No specific recommendations such as use product x on a Cougar 95's dash.
