Typing errors can be some of the funniest things and this book contains many that are very amusing. Altering or leaving off even a single letter can sometimes dramatically alter the meaning of the phrase, turning it into a joke. Kermit Schafer coined the term "blooper" to describe these accidental slips of the tongue or fingers on the keyboard. Sometimes, and to me these are the most interesting, the phrase is correct, but it also has a second and quite different meaning if you parse it differently or alter the context. These errors are amusing, not hysterically so, to me none rose above the level of the wry grin. Still it was fun to read and some of them are excellent phrases to use in classes describing the ambiguity problems when using a computer to parse and understand the meaning of a phrase.
