it is funny how accurate this is

It is interesting to really see personalities mapped out and you better believe you will start laughing when you read some of these descriptions and they match some of the people you work with to a tee. It's a good read.

Great for using MBTI in the workplace.

This book is great for using Myers Briggs in the workplace. I used it to accompany a presentation I gave on MBTI. The participants were not very familiar with MBTI - this book talks about the types in a very understandable way and places it into to the context of the workplace. There is also some "type humor" in the book that I used to help break the ice. I looked at several books for this application and am very glad I chose this one.

Finding Ways to Communicate

All personality books offer generalizations and this is no different. The authors, however, do acknowledge the limitations of the Myers-Briggs test (in contrast to Please Understand Me, a worthless book). I had my staff take the MB test to see how they scored and then had them read and use the book in exercises to understand how their communication with and peception of others is affected by their personality. It was an interesting process and got them to realize that some of their interpersonal conflicts start in their head. A good choice for team building and organizational development.

Actually...

Actually, the type definitions in this book are better than those at David Keirsey's book.
