Paradise found...then lost!

I had the wonderful experience to read this book while sailing in the BVI in December of 2000. Very interesting story, made more real to me by actually sitting in their concrete home. Nothing makes a tale come alive like being there! I recommend this book, especially to those who visit the British Virgin Islands. Too bad they eventually lost their beautiful island.

and a difficult book to find. Would make a great movie? 1930's depression era adventure and young love....
