MY UNCLE AND MY FATHER. I USED TO BE ABLE TO TELL THEM APART. NOT ANYMORE. BECAUSE THEY'RE BOTH THE SAME. THEY BOTH WANT TO DESTROY ME. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Gaia Moore has never experienced fear. Being fearless is what makes her unique -- and dangerous. But she's always wanted to have a taste of what fear is like. And when Loki offers her the chance to finally experience what it's like to be normal through a new drug, Gaia finds it hard to refuse. Although she doesn't trust Loki or Tom, she knows that Loki is the one who is giving her the freedom of getting away. But another thing she has to think about is Ed. Ed is the only person in the world who is her one true friend, and Gaia fears he may die soon because of her. She's already lost her mother, her friend Mary, and now Sam. And Gaia will do anything to stop his murder. Fearless #19: Twins is among the best in this thrilling series, keeping you in suspense until the end. It makes some changes in the series as well, and is well-written with a new twist of surprises. You won't be able to put it down.

Gaia is once again surrounded by the horrible parts in her life when her uncle offers her an injection to feel fear. Not only did it work, but Gaia now sees the people she cared about that have been murdered by Loki... Mary, Katia, Sam... this book is really captivating. Ed and Gaia become more than friends, and Josh comes in contact with Heather. Twins is really good.
One for the Ed/Gaia fans!!

As we know in Love #18 Gaia was captured by her sick uncle Loki. He, the sick dude that he is, manipulates Gaia to think that her father, Tom, injected a substance in her that caused her not to have her fear gene, and that she was natrully born with fear. Loki says he can help her feal fear again. Gaia is hesitant, as deep inside her a part in her is terrifed of feeling fear, but with the further manipulations of Loki she agrees. Gaia doesn't know though that Loki also took a blood sample of her. Good thing for Gaia her father's me come to rescue her but Loki escapes with her blood sample. Gaia is placed in a new parents home but she is in horrible shape as she is buring with fever and experiencing hallucinations. However all Gaia is thinking about is being with Ed. She tries to get to his apartment, and all that keeps her going is the secret feelings for him that she has developed over time and had been hidden in her heart for so long.Ed on the other hand is worried sick about Gaia. He fears the worst, that Gaia is dead. However he more than surprised to see Gaia at his doorstep and immediately takes her in as she is raging with fever and hallucinating. That is when they learn that it turns out the injection was meant to test Gaia's actual ability to not feel fear by giving her temporary schizophrenia. My favorite part of this story was at the end when Ed's life was put in danger and Gaia finally shows her true feeling for Ed!! Ed/Gaia fans can't miss this one! It was sooooo great! I loved it! And the cliffhanger ending makes you want the next book even more and yeah the back cover of this book is really interesting!!

I finally, finally, finally got this book, (13 days after it came out, LOL) and loved every single second of it! Gaia's captured by her uncle, who makes her think that her not having a fear gene was actually a project that her father put her through, and that she wasn't really *born* without it. So he offers to give her something that will make her feel fear again, and being unafraid of the consequences, Gaia agrees. But her dad's men break in and rescue her, and Loki takes off with her blood samples after the doctor injects her with something. Her dad leaves her with some strangers, much to George's objections, but Gaia won't hear of it. She leaves and makes her way to Ed's, the only place she wants to be. Ed's been worried out of his mind and fearing that he may never see her again, so when she shows up outside his door you can imagine what he's feeling. It turns out the injection was meant to test Gaia's actually ability to not feel fear by giving her temporary schizophrenia. That uncle of hers is sick sick sick. But when Ed's placed in danger, Gaia comes shining through, finally realizing how much she loves him.The book was GREAT! Certainly can't wait for number 20!

Gaia has been captured by her Uncle Oliver. He once again manipulates her into believing that her father had taken the Fear gene out of her when she was a child. He promises that he has found a cure to give her back the Fear gene. Gaia hesitantly accepts. But Oliver injects a sort of drug that will give her hallucinations, and he has taken a sample of her blood. Gaia is rescued by her father, and sleeps for days with a burning fever, experiancing hallucinations. Finally her father tells Gaia that she is to live with strangers who are to be her foster parents. Another home. And Gaia can't take that, she gets up because she HAS to go see Ed. She struggles to get over to his apartment, and the only thing that keeps her going is her thoughts of bieng with him. Because Gaia is realizing that she is in love with Ed. Ed has not seen or heard from Gaia Moore in a day. He has been worrying non-stop that Gaia has left him without saying goodbye, or she is lying dead in an alley somewhere. When she comes banging on his door, Ed is graced with the presence of the only girl he has ever truly loved with all of his heart...and she is burning with a fever. Ed (bieng noble Ed) offers her a place to sleep. Loki's thugs have been testing Gaia with the drug. Trying to see if, indeed, she IS Fearless. If she proves not to be, then Loki can carry out his plan. So, will Gaia prove to be TRULY Fearless? Or had she just not found her Fear yet? What is going to happen with Gaia and Ed? Will Gaia finally get to keep this one? Or will Loki terminate him? Oooh!! This was sooooooooo good!! I LOVED the End. Yay!! But i hated Loki so much for what he did to Gaia. And i actually began to dislike Tom in this book. I mean, he, over and over, breaks Gaia's heart because he cannot be the father he is meant to be. I know that it is for her protection, but still... Anyway, this was an AWESOME book!! Fearless (and Ed and Gaia fans) will LOVE it!!
