I really enjoyed this book. Some stories are better than others. Anyone having to deal with unemployment will love "If I had a hammer". My personal favorite was "Viceroy Girls"; it's short and sweet, and succinctly captures loneliness, longing, hope, and connection with poetic dexterity.ABC's is probably the most endearing and heartfully written story of the collection that embraces the anguish, love, affirmation and grace that defines a troubled family (show me a family that isn't). McComas is a skilled and dedicated Author. I also read his second book "Unplugged", a story of depression and affirmation, and recognized how his ability has grown since 20 Questions. Unplugged is a great book, btw. Anybody who has suffered from depression will connnect with this story right away.
These are great stories combined in an even greater book.

Twenty Questions is a great collection of stories. Some are sad, some are happy, and some are humorous. All together they make a wonderful book. "Now I Know My ABC's" is about a young man trying to deal with his younger sister's mental illness. "If I Had a Hammer" is a humorous account of a man dealing with unemployment. "H.O.D." is one of the two pieces of poetry hidden in the book. It is about one man's night out and the morning after. These are only three out of the twenty stories inside this book. They are all equally good and enjoyable. I strongly recommend getting this book especially since the author, Paul McComas, is my godfather. It is a fantastic book.
