Two rare editions from Sebastian Lee rolled into one here. The 20 Etudes here are a compilation of Op. 100 and Op. 105. All are numbered chronologically and are fairly easy to figure out. This is not a beginner etude book, this is for upper level intermediate to advanced. There is some thumb position here with a moveable thumb, so not Paganini by any stretch, but a challenge nonetheless. The Op. 105 is actually reprinted from the original Alphonse Leduc Plate A.L.5631, printed in Paris in the 1870s, and the Op. 100 is from A. Cranz, Plate 3953, printed in Hamburg also during the 1870s. First time in print for a long time here. A must for any cellist to have in their library. Some small plate imperfections present, but I played them all through and they are completely readable with my poor eyes. 26pps, Edition Fleury 2013, extra pages in back for annotations.
