A handy one-volume reference.

It's unfortunate that there hasn't been a second edition of this book, which capably chronicles the TV credits of hundreds of actors and actresses. There are omissions, of course, given the scope of what Inman has attempted, but the book basically serves its stated purpose -- to help you ask the burning question, "Hey, is that (now-famous movie actor) in an early 'I Dream of Jeannie' guest shot?" Inman's descriptions of the actors are sometimes witty, sometimes annoying, but are generally helpful.
