Read On!!

Pastor Frank Santora gets it...he wrote a book that not only serves as a beginner's roadmap for non-believers, but is also a coaching tool/reality check for those who have been in the Faith for a while. Yes, Christians can blow it; yes, we all can get it wrong. Guess what? God is there to help you in every step of your own turn around to a different direction for a new life. These steps are highlighted throughout this book in an easy to understand format, not only providing scriptural evidence, but also using humor, personal life experiences and testimonies of others (most well-known, some of them not necessarily claiming the faith, mind you) to send the message that "God wants to help you...because you're special to him!". This is not just another "feel good" book; in fact, many of the occurrences that inspired Pastor Frank to write this book came out of personal misery. That fact alone should encourage readers to know that overcoming life's obstacles may not be easy, but God provides us with the necessary tools to build a stronger relationship with him and trust him while we are being challenged with everyday situations. This is a very enjoyable read.

"Turn it Around" could not have come at a better time. My life seemed to be going no where. "Turn it Around" stirred up inside me a new hope and stronger belief in myself and in a God who is able to turn any situation I am going through around for good. God never ceases to amaze me when it comes to orchestrating the affairs of His people. It is of a truth, that everything works together for the good of those who meet two criterias: They love God, and are called according to His purpose! God will allow events to occur in our lives, to bring us to a place where He commands our undivided attention. Your horizontal sight becomes obscured, and you begin to look vertically "to the hills from whence comes your Help"! He then opens the "Windows of Heaven" and imparts revelation, and fresh insight, that not only delivers us out of our situation, but releases a mandate for the healing of the nations! Pastor Frank Santora's book titled "Turn It Around" is a mandate from God. "Turn It Around" is a book that was birthed out of the crucible of God's Fire. Pastor Frank's experience caused him to cry out to God for answers. God's response was to release His grace, His mercy, and a greater anointing upon his life. "Turn It Around " brings forth one inspiring story after another, and drives home the point that "nothing is impossible for God"! If we only trust and believe, God can truly turn our situation around. In my own life, I have experienced crushing defeat, hurt, and disappointment, only to realize that God had (plans) to turn it around, and resurrect His purpose and plans for my life. His purpose was that I would rely on His strength, and not my own. His plans are much greater, and He has a much greater perspective than we have. He knows the end from the beginning. "Turn It Around" challenges us to "come up hither", and see life from God's point of view. This book is a powerhouse! It is packed with "strong meat" for the mature, yet easily digestible to all who read it. I am always reading books and materials, in an effort to grow in the things of God. However, it's been a while since a book has stirred me up on the inside, to continue to "press toward the mark" , the way "Turn It Around " has. Pastor Santora has hit a Grand Slam in the bottom of the ninth, and the outcome is victory for Team Jesus! "Turn It Around" is a must read! May God richly bless you! Back in the early years of my Christian education, I distinctly remember learning about Jonathan Edwards' mid-18th century sermon entitled "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God." That Sunday in Enfield, Connecticut, the prominent minister preached a mixture of fire and brimstone, essentially frightening both believers and non-believers alike into heeding the mandates of God's law. Fast forward 250 years to Pastor Frank Santora, another Connecticut minister and author of "Turn it Around." In direct contrast to the Edwards' imagery, I can easily see Pastor Santora's book subtitled, "Sinners in the Hands of a Loving God." Using a solid base of biblical examples and principles, Santora shows that it is God's grace, not any of our own endeavors, that is all-sufficient. No matter the problem - other people, circumstances, personal failures - God can change them and even give our outlook a complete make-over in the process! Not only does this book teach readers that lives are subject to change, it actually provides the tools necessary to allow that change to happen, placing emphasis upon first heeding the convictions of the Holy Spirit, then growing and maturing in Christ once we're on the right path.
