Turmoil in the Toy Box is a must read for parents and caregivers. It's our responsibility to protect our children and to raise them to have hearts that seek after God. This book helps to reveal areas that the enemy may try to use to begin working in our children's minds. This book was a tremendous help to our family. Even my children were excited when we read this book, studied the Bible, and cleaned out their toy boxes and video collection together.
WAKE UP TO THE ONSLAUGHT AGAINST OUR CHILDREN!

I found this to be an invaluable tool in teaching my children years ago regarding the deceptive ways that our enemy uses to "dupe" God's people (and the world at large) into thinking that occult activity in any way, shape or form is acceptable entertainment. I disagree wholeheartedly with the negative reviews. I have since come to meet many adults that wish their parents were more discerning when it came to the "dark side" presented in such a "fun" and wonderful "light". Our kids are being "schooled" in subtle and overt ways in witchcraft, Zen Buddhism, necromancy, etc. Read Deut.18 and ask the Lord for discernment. I know many who have benefitted greatly by this expose. Though at this point the book might seem outdated, the principles are still timeless. In light of the current popularity of Harry Potter, we would do well to get back to what the scriptures teach on these topics. Don't be deceived, Satan comes as an "angel of light" making things look innocent. Jesus said that those who lack discernment will even be deceived by the Antichrist, thinking that he is a savior. He will do magical exploits and most will think he is from God. There is an explosion of occult activity that is considered harmless. Remember that the devil wants to destroy the most vulnerable of all, our children, and uses entertainment on their level to indoctrinate in ways that we ignorant adults receive as acceptable.
A MAD GENUIS!

I'm a HUGE Phil Phillips fan, this man is a mad genuis. This book is second to only apacolypse culture in my nonfiction section. Even the Cabbage Patch kids can't escape Phillips knowing gaze! Just like his Halloween and Satanism book there isn't a fact to be had instead you get a sneak peek into a mind disturbed and twisted from years of Christianity and repressed guilt. Highly recommended for aspiring psychologists with no patients to practice on and fans of Freud.
From the darkness, the light always hurts our eyes.

If what you want, is only what you knew or others before you knew, then don't bother reading this book. However, if you are willing to obtain useful information, some wisdom, and discernment, even at the cost of losing that comfortable zone sometimes refered to as complacency, then you will find somethings worth noticing in this book. Not too long ago, the Holocaust was ridiculed as being ridiculous, when too few knew it to be the awful truth. And so it is again. The effects of warnings, or simple ignorance, either way, its your choice. Even as it was then.
Very very amusing.

Hilarious, over the top fundamentalist assault on popular 80's toylines, including He-Man/Masters Of the Universe, Transformers, Star Wars, Care Bears, and even the Smurfs. All are presented as being tools of Satan. Pretty cute book.
