Blue Guide: Turkey

The Blue Guide: Turkey offers extensive information about ALL the archaeological sites in Turkey. The information is recent and as thorough as I have ever found in any travel guide. It offers complete directions to the site, information on the history of the site and of its excavation, extensive descriptions on what is to be seen, when the site is open, what amenities are available, and to whom to address questions( who is in charge there). I don't have unlimited time to travel, so Blue Guide: Turkey helps me find the sites I wish to see. It is as handy and indispensible as any travel guide I have ever bought. I have bought alot of them.

Best for cultural & basic archaeological background
