Had to read it, ended up loving it

I loved to read in high school, but hated being assigned books that weren’t a topic I was drawn to. This book was assigned and I ended up falling in love with the storytelling and message. One thing that has really stuck with me into adulthood is the fact that no time is guaranteed, it’s important to make time in your busy schedule for people you care about.

NO STARS HERE. I ordered two of these books, both were *described* as Very Good condition!

So angry, both book jackets were DIRTY/grungey and one had dirty, old glue STUCK to it, I can't even use either of the book jackets! At the very LEAST, BE HONEST!! Even at the nice prices, with the books in the condition they're in you STILL ripped me off!

A little disappointed in condition of book

Book came with a lot of writing all with previous person name . Spill stains and also food stains smh . Will rebuy somewhere else new

Good quality

Maybe I was lucky, I received a beautiful hardcover- like new copy. No significant marks or tears. I rated this one 4 stars on good reads. What can I say? Old people get me, every time.

Amazing book

A year jerker

So inspiring and really makes you think about and appreciate Life and your love ones more.

It’s okay…

It was an interesting idea overall and kind of like A Christmas Carol with a twist. I thought the main character was depressing though. It is a very quick read as well which is nice!

life-changing

Read it from start-to-finish in one sitting. Beautiful

This book can be a life changer. . . for your inner self, your real self !!!

Took my breath away, filled my mind with so many ideas of looking at myself, my life and my values. I am old, but feel starting anew❣️❗️

amazing

if you’re looking for any relaxed read this is it. this book was beautifully written and i think it was a great memoir for morrie. it showed the lessons he had learned through his own life passed down to his previous student. this book was truly wonderful and i reread it very often. definitely worth the read, hell i would buy it if it were 100 dollars just to read again if i lost my first two copies.

Perhaps my favourite of all time

Is is a wonderful, emotional story. Our dysfunctional book club had the best discussion ever. Even those who had not read the book could relate and participate!

My heart melted

Anyone who loves reading, anyone who reads and likes to relate to the characters, and anyone who loves not just a book but a story. This is my favorite book by Mitch albom , very incredible. Life changing.

Tuesdays with Morrie

The best book you will ever read!

Wonderful

'Tuedays with Morrie' was a wonderful read. I laughed and cried with Mitch and Morrie. I have known a young person who died from ALS when she was 45, My mother and I used to visit her on Sundays. Morries' Story is an inspirational one and makes you appreciate the simple things in life.

On Living and Loving Tuesday's With Morrie

I could not put this book down once I started reading it. This touching story of life and loving can teach us all a thing or two which could profoundly change our lives. I hope I have the courage at the ending of my life to live it out as Morrie Schwartz did. Mitch Albom did a wonderful work of portraying the end days of this humble man. I give this book a 5 star rating due to it's touuching me in my heart.

A Touching Look At Death... And Life

'tuesdays with Morrie' is a short, simple book that proves a work doesn't need to be long or bloated to touch the soul or sell. Renowned sportswriter Mitch Albom reconnects with his professor from college after hearing the sad news that his beloved teacher is dying from ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). What originally was supposed to be a visit inexplicably turned into the non-fiction book that never was meant to be, as Morrie decided that with his final time on this earth he had one more class to teach. As Morrie's health deteriorates, it doesn't stop him from sharing what he had learned in his life, wanting to help others, and reconnect with the individual that he considered to be like a son to him. There's no genre of reader that this applies to because this book applies to everyone. It's a short, quick read, and it will leave you thinking about how to enjoy life better and why family and friends are so vital. From someone who is used to covering baseball and sports comes a heart-warming tale that ensures that Morrie's legacy will live on much longer than his physical time on this planet. ***** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

No money promised , just answers

Within this story about the special connection between a spiritual mentor and his pupil, the old man imparts his wisdom his pupil regarding many troubling questions about human existence. This book along with the book An Encounter with a Prophet both present spiritual, not religious, answers to anyone open to truth. These two books unlike many of the popular "spiritual books" that tell you how get your millions, speak of real meanings and values. I highly recommend both books.

I had been in an abusive relationship. Admitting it to myself had its own difficulties, not to mention opening up to my family and friends. Now I had the crazy idea of writing it all down and sharing it with the world. Well, I won’t get too carried away... It wasn’t the world, but all my friends on Facebook and anyone who happened to stumble across my online blog.

This year was not short of standout literary highlights. One of the greatest novels of the twentieth century; To Kill a Mockingbird got "sequelled" with the acclaimed Go Set a Watchman, replete with a less prosaic Atticus Finch. Then, as the year progressed, two acclaimed authors reached out to us from beyond the grave, via their publishing houses. Dr. Seuss added to his body of two acclaimed authors reached out to us from beyond the grave, work when What Pet Should I Get, was unearthed in the office of the late author, complete with illustrations. Then along came The Girl in the Spider's Web, a further addition to the Millennium series which is a rare feat, since the author, Stieg Larsson died of a heart attack in 2004. This "quartet-maker" is very successfully channelled (or dare I say ghost written) by David Largercranz.
