Great Read-Aloud

My pre-schooler loves this book! The play on words is so much fun. The expression that can't help but come through in the crazy combination of words from "the little big toe" to the "big little finger." Nice science lesson at the end coming from the big sister who narrates the story. Many real-world connections include the media frenzy for a silly story to the plumber's backside. To get the fun of this story it must be read out loud with expression.

Good to the Last Drop.....

As sister Lucy Hathaway reports, it was 4:15 P.M. when brother, Henry, walked in the back door. He was filthy, and Mother immediately ordered him upstairs to take a bath. greatest book of all time

My toddler can not put this book down. It goes into the tub every bath with him It is the illustrations that really bring it home. excelent book.
