Sweet and delightful tale...

I throughly enjoyed the latest installment of Negima adventures in an Japanese private school for girls. The scrapes and misunderstandings abound to my through enjoyment. Can't wait till the next one comes out!

The Best Yet!

While I found the last volume to be rather bland, I can now see that it was purely setup for this kickarse volume that has got to be one of the best in the series yet! This arc completely breaks the cycle of the gang going to another world, find a feather and move on and brings up several questions, answers and clues about the series mysteries that I didn't know even existed. For example we find out that Mokona can actually teleport everyone to the next world no matter where they are in the current world. I honestly never thought of that possibility before so it came as a very nice suprise when it came out of nowhere. We're also given a lot more focus on the two Syaorans, as well as Fei Wang Reed and his connection to Yuko and Clow Reed. Speaking of Yuko, fans of xxxHolic will really find reading this volume worth while as we get to see an above average dose of Yuko this time around and find out a little bit more about how she is and how she can help Sakura and Syaoran. It also becomes apparent that she's aware of what Syaoran really is. We know that there's another Syaoran with a connection to him but it looks like there's a lot more to it than that. Kurogane and Faye are used rather well and mysteriously here with both characters being thrown into a situation that none of them have been before which leads to a showdown between Kurogane and Syaoran which is amazing to see and I can't wait to see it animated in the anime. I also got the feeling in this volume that at least one character will die before the end of the series, possibly even all off the characters (which would make for a rather dramatic ending in my opinion). This volume doesn't disapoint on any level and finishes with a cliffhanger that actually makes you want to read the next volume asap! The story is moving very quickly now and it just keeps getting better and better! 5 stars all the way! Grab it now!

Another excellent volume of Tsubasa.

In volume eight of the Tsubasa manga, Syaoran, Sakura, Fai, Kurogane, and Mokona first travel to a strange jungle world inhabited by furry creatures being terrorized by a mysterious monster. The furry creatures claim the beast demands a sacrifice -- and if the companions cannot placate the monster, one of them will be that sacrifice!! The friends are able to figure out what the mysterious monster really is and reclaim the feather that is hidden in that world, but the encounter leaves them with an uneasy feeling. They then travel on to the main world of the new story arc that begins with this volume, the country of Shara, where Sakura, Syaoran, and Mokona end up in an all-female circus, and Kurogane and Fai at a temple that is home to a band of warriors. This was another great volume in this manga, with lots of sweet, funny, and exciting moments in it, as always, and it starts off an interesting now story arc. Fans of Tsubasa will not want to miss it.

Cute, funny and sweet!

I was so happy when I saw that Clamp had continued the romance of Li and Sakura! Evene though it's not Cardcaptors exactly, it still has many of the characters, and ones from other mangas like Chi from Chobits! This series is so fun, and it'll make you tear up, or laugh, and cheer the characters on! Totally a series to get!

Extra Great

Rateing- MUST HAVE I just wanted to say I was a hudge fan of CCS (Card Captor Sakura). You follow the group of heros were the last book left off. But this time they are sent to a new world after regaining another feather. She remebers nothing at all. As soon as they enter the new world they are in the middle of a big comotion- just getting worse with them. A girl pops up declaring a revolt (well sort of). She is out to get her revenge on the king and his son. Her mother was an expert in magic. However, the king sought through with that and murdered her. She lets the weird group of heros stay with her over night while thety repair her house. Introducing new and unique magical items that help them out in tight spots. (But I won't say where or which part, or what anyhow) I also wanted to not only remark that this volume is a lot darker, but it's got some tear jerkers now and then. Also you'll get to see another remarkable power of Sakura's memories (the feathers). Even if you never liked CCS this series is a MUST have if you love manga as much as I do. Sincerly, Ichigo Defender
