My 2 year old loves this book

This book has lots of pictures of different trucks with small inset pictures of the details. My son loves this book and asks for it regularly. I bought it to put in his toddler backpack for a flight to visit grandma and I was happy to see it was a good choice. You get bang for your buck with the amount and variety of trucks. If your child is as obsessed with anything with wheels, especially trucks and construction vehicles, like mine is, they will probably enjoy this book quite a bit.

My son's absolute favorite.

My 2 year old son has a lot of books, but this is the one he still wants to read several times a day. I originally purchased it at an airport to occupy him on a flight, and in the past year his interest in it has never waned. He can identify every type of truck and digger in the book, from the chief's fire truck to the motor home to the farm buggy, and can even name the parts of the excavator and other equipment. It's definitely toddler-friendly without "dumbing it down," so if your little one is as interested in all things that GO as mine is, this little book will go a long way in satisfying his or her curiosity about many different vehicles (as well as their uses and parts).

Great picture book for young toddlers

Trucks and Diggers book was one of my daughter's early favorites. She selected it in the library when she was about 12 months and wanted to "read" it 10 times a day. She was very disappointed when we had to return it. I checked it out again, when she was 15 months, and it was still a big hit. At that time she could point to the pictures and to name some of the objects (Twuck! Twuck!). I decided to buy it when she was 18, and... she was not interested. Now this book stands on her bookshelf in the living room and gathers dust. She still loves books about cars and trucks, but apparently she moved on. Well, maybe one day she revisits it again.

A hit!!!!

My two year old loves this book. A must for all fans of big trucks.
