Perfect for advanced Discus keepers

This book is perfect for anyone looking for Discus information that isn't in other general discus books. Some of the information has a lot of science jargon, so people who are not into science may have some difficulty understanding. But overall this is a book every discus hobbyist who is into breeding and wishes to expand their knowledge should have.

Excellent & recommended

This book is excellent and up to date. It gives interesting insights into breeding but is also a very good source of information for the average discus enthusiast. Contains lots of very good photographs of the latest breeds.

Dick Au explains it all

Excellent book with very useful information. The information about genetics and breeding is invaluable. I would highly recommend this book. Dick Au is one of the most knowledgeable discus experts in the world.

Must have for discus keepers!

I read this book in one sitting. Though, to get the full benefit of this book, you need to go back to it. I could not put it down. It had very good advice on what it takes to get a "Trophy Discus" of your own. It goes into what to look for when selecting a discus that you either plan to show or breed in the future. This is not a typical discus book in that it assumes that you have a basic knowledge on how to care for discus.

Excellent!

Excellent source of info for Discus lovers who want to take things to the next level and start breeding Discus. Covers (in simple terms) what to look for when choosing your Discus, how to artificial raise fry, genetics, judging standards and the genetic background for the common Discus varieties.
