A great read

I saw this book while visiting the Core Sound Museum on Harker's Island, NC. After just a few pages, I knew that I wanted it for my personal library. I try to make time to read at least 10 pages a day. It is a substantial volume and the stories are fascinating. If you are interested in folklore this is a great book. I also bought American Folkelore but haven't started reading it yet.

Southern Folklore

This book is fabulous! Im from the Deep South and it is really fun to hear these stories. So much truth in them and so much wisdom and fun. I highly recommend for anyone who loves the South and its quirks and magic!

Great comprehensive book on southern folklore

This is one of my all-time favorite books. Great for just picking up and flipping through. Filled with short and not-so-short stories about the South. If you find a copy, buy it! You won't regret it.
