This is the perfect book for a fan of the Disney's movie "Treasure Planet". It explains lots of background information, that aren't told in the movie. I myself was amazed and satisfied, when I got to know some information about characters, sets, music etc.
AN UNDERRATED MOVIE, AN UNSUNG CLASSIC

I bought this book because I wanted to see some of the artwork that was part of a movie that my teacher from Art Center worked on. Yes, I must confess, I have never seen the movie, but bought it because I love collecting books on art and animation. I have to agree with a previous review that pointed out that this book should have come out in hardcover format. It is too bad that Disney ignored it, and cut out on advertising, because the artwork is truly a treat. Nonetheless, I'm glad to include this book in my collection; it's more than worth its retail price!
An amazing look into the world of Treasure Planet

I already loved the movie, so I was exstatic to purchase this book. It helped me learn more in-depth into the characters and their backgrounds. It was also funny to see the character development pics. They looked so bizzare. All in all, the high price is worth it. I am so glad that I bought this book!
Delightful piece for any fan or collector

I thorougly enjoyed the movie "Treasure Planet" for the art as much as the story. It really was one of Disney's most beautiful films. That's why I enjoyed this book so much. It gives an in-depth look at the art, the style, the making, etc. Each character is discussed with their background. Best of all, there are amazing pictures--sketch, rough-draft, final--that are absolutely georgous. This book is a great look into the movie. If you loved "Treasure Planet", you will appreciate this.
Great Surprise!

Great book! It has plenty of background info and production and prepoduction work. The Glenn Keane animation drawings alone are worth getting the book. I enjoy the behind the seens work in animation productions as well as the films themselves. I believe this book satisfies interest on both accounts. This book is a welcome addition to anyone's library. I look forward to seeing the movie.
