Travel section?

This book is touted as "Nonfiction/Travel." That it is, but it is so much more: philosophy, ethnography, sociology, eco-awarenss, religion and on and on. Professor Bushoven has written a pithy, deep and engrossing little book of life that can and should be devoured in one sitting. I read it twice, back-to-back. A sample:"To travel well you must grow, stretch, and reach. Otherwise you will be a tourist, not a traveler, a survivor rather than a visitor or guest." Not bad advice for living one's life.This book is a rare little gem from a truly sensitive, engaging and original mind.

Traveling Notes is an excellent book for people who enjoy the liberation of travel. Every page of Bushoven's introspective notes provide the reader with wit, laughter, and profound reflection. I thouroughly enjoyed sharing Bushoven's recorded journeys!
